Description
A luminous tumbled kyanite stone is set in a double ring with a sculpted acrylic cabochon. The acrylic is a luminous neon orange, and looks like a gem itself, taking on the character of the burnished silver beneath it. It has an adjustable open band.
Kyanite comes from the Greek word “kyanos” meaning “deep blue.” It has a unique crystalline structure with long, bladed color variations. It reminds me of looking out at a frozen lake in the sunlight. It can be brittle so it is sometimes stabilized with oils and resins. Kyanite is revered as a stone that aligns chakras quickly, and promotes a sense of tranquility.
